As a former British Army Combat Medical Technician, he has made a remarkable impact globally, delivering life-saving treatments and navigating critical events in destinations ranging from the Falklands to Cyprus, Kenya, and Norway. His journey is not just a career; it’s a testament to resilience and the profound difference one person can make in high-pressure situations.
Beyond his military service, Matt has passionately pursued the development of his safety expertise. He has become a qualified firefighter and has contributed to the private healthcare sector and facilities management, continually leading in safety and development roles. His journey is a vivid reminder that every step taken in pursuit of knowledge makes a profound impact.
Realising that the current health and safety training landscape often lacks cohesion and consistency, he saw an opportunity for innovation. Identifying the fragmentation within the training provided across various industries, he was inspired to create GMC Medsafe—a dynamic and ever-expanding hub dedicated to offering bespoke health and safety training and development packages tailored to meet unique needs.
