First Aid at Work (FAW)
The three-day First Aid at Work course provides comprehensive training for employees who may be required to respond to a wider range of workplace injuries and medical emergencies. Training includes CPR and AED use, major bleeding, shock, fractures, burns, head and spinal injuries, seizures, asthma, diabetes and other common medical conditions.
Suitable for businesses whose first aid needs assessment identifies a requirement for qualified First Aiders, courses can be delivered on-site throughout Cumbria.
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
Our one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course gives employees the practical skills and confidence to respond to common workplace first aid emergencies. EFAW is commonly suitable for workplaces where the employer's first-aid needs assessment identifies a requirement for Emergency First Aiders at Work.

First Aid at Work Requalification
First Aid at Work certificates are normally valid for three years. Our two-day First Aid at Work Requalification course allows existing First Aiders to refresh their knowledge, practise essential skills and renew their qualification before it expires.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid
Emergency Paediatric First Aid provides practical training for people who care for babies and children. The course develops the skills needed to assess and respond to emergency situations, including paediatric CPR, choking, seizures, bleeding, shock and dealing with an unresponsive infant or child.
This course is particularly suitable for childcare staff, schools, activity providers and others working with children and can be delivered on-site across Cumbria.
Oxygen Therapy Administration
Oxygen Therapy Administration training provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to administer emergency oxygen safely and appropriately.
The course is particularly relevant to qualified First Aiders, healthcare and care staff, sports and leisure organisations, emergency response teams and workplaces where oxygen is included within emergency arrangements. Practical training includes oxygen equipment, casualty assessment, safety precautions and appropriate administration techniques.
Anaphylaxis Awareness Training
A focused three-hour course designed to help learners recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and understand how to respond appropriately in an emergency. Training includes common triggers, emergency actions and the safe use of adrenaline auto-injectors.
Ideal for schools, nurseries, care settings, workplaces and organisations where staff may need to respond to severe allergic reactions
Basic Life Support and AED Training
Basic Life Support and safe use of an AED training provides focused instruction in recognising life-threatening emergencies, performing effective resuscitation and using an Automated External Defibrillator safely and confidently.
This practical course is suitable for organisations that require formal Basic Life Support training without the broader syllabus of a full workplace first aid qualification.
